I'm so excited to be part of the Skyland community! My family moved back to the mountains from Texas to be closer to family and nature. I'm an Asheville native but left home at 17 to join the Navy. Since then, I've live in Virginia, Illinois, Nevada, Florida, Texas and spent over a year at sea! My wife and I have 1 son, Elliot, who is 4 and starting kindergarten next fall. 

I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Trust and Investment Wealth Management from Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC and I received my initial teaching certification in Texas through the YES Prep Teaching Excellence program.

In my spare time I love to hike, camp, work on the homestead and spend quality time with my family.
