About Me

The most important thing for students and parents to know about me is that I absolutely love what I do; this my my career and my passion. I am originally from southern Georgia, but I have spent time living in Colorado and Tennessee before moving to Greenville to begin my career in education. I spent 4 years teaching and coaching at Hillcrest High School, before spending a year as a college track and cross country coach at Mercer University while working toward my Master's degree. I studied Economics at Mercer  for my undergraduate years, while also running Division I Cross Country and Track. I currently coach Cross Country and Track at Riverside. In my free time I enjoy running (as well as any other outdoor activity) with my wife Olivia. I am also a huge college football, basketball, and soccer fan, as well as an Lord of the Rings and anime fan.
