About Mr. Rice

I am Roger Rice, and I teach Challenge classes at Westcliffe Elementary School. I have been teaching at Westcliffe since 2018, and I have been with the Greenville County School District since 1995. I "officially" retired in 2015, and resumed teaching Challenge in 2017. 

I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1977, with degrees in Criminal Justice and International Studies. I received my Masters in Education from Converse College in 1994. 

My hobbies are photography, swimming, and hiking.

Westcliffe Elementary is a wonderful school, with wonderful teachers and students! I am so very fortunate to be a part of this great school!
