Student Engagement Expectations

Student success requires active engagement, responsible use of class time, and completing all assignments on time. Class time is for learning, practice, and asking for help, and students are expected to stay focused and participate. Completing work on time supports learning, builds responsibility, and keeps students on track academically.

Expectations for Students

• Be present, prepared, and on time

• Complete all assignments by the assigned due date
  
  

If You Are Struggling

• Ask questions during class or work time
  
  

• Speak with the teacher as soon as possible
  
  

• Use available support time or tutoring
  
  

• Stay organized and check deadlines regularly
  
  

• Communicate honestly before assignments become late or missing
  
  

Families and teachers work together to support students, but students are responsible for their choices and effort. Meeting these expectations builds habits necessary for success in school and beyond.
