Wrapping Up the 2025-2026 School Year at Greenville Senior High School
A personal word from Mr. Neel
We are all looking forward to finishing this school year up strong. This has been a special year for me as a teacher. There are so many students who have become so very special to me. You are awesome. Spending this school year with you all has made memories I will cherish. To those students in my classes last semester, it has been good to see your continued growth and performance. Being able to create a new course- Freshman Success and teach it was a wonderful experience. I am grateful for that opporunity to teach those 9th grades. To my seniors this year and last year---you are talented and can achieve great things. I believe in every one of you. To the juniors this semester, you are almost there now and will soon be the Seniors in the building, represent yourself and Greenville High well next year.
As for me, I will always cherish these years at Greenville Senior High. However, I am excited to announce a new chapter as I will join the English faculty at Travelers Rest High School in August 2026. I will always love Greenville High and my prayers for my students will forever be in my heart and mind.
Grateful for what has been and thrilled beyond measure for what is to come.
At the end of this year I will transition from a Red Raider to a TR DevilDog. In many ways, I will always be a Red Raider.
Thank you all,
Mr. Neel

Student success requires active engagement, responsible use of class time, and completing all assignments on time. Class time is for learning, practice, and asking for help, and students are expected to stay focused and participate. Completing work on time supports learning, builds responsibility, and keeps students on track academically.
Be present, prepared, and on time
Stay focused and engaged during instruction
Use class time productively to complete assigned work
Ask for help when needed
Complete all assignments by the assigned due date
Ask questions during class or work time
Speak with the teacher as soon as possible
Use available support time or tutoring
Stay organized and check deadlines regularly
Communicate honestly before assignments become late or missing
Families and teachers work together to support students, but students are responsible for their choices and effort. Meeting these expectations builds habits necessary for success in school and beyond.
