I’m excited to be starting my fifth year as a teacher and another year as part of the Wildcat community! I wanted to share a little about myself so you can get to know me.
I graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate, where I was a pitcher on the baseball team. I’m a proud Upstate local—I grew up in Easley and have deep roots in this area.
I’m also the Head Baseball Coach here at Woodmont. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share that passion with our student-athletes.
Outside of school, my family keeps me pretty busy! My wife, Eliza, is a third-grade teacher in Pickens County, and we recently welcomed our daughter, Mallory. We also have a chocolate lab named Java, who is always ready for an adventure.
When I’m not at school, you’ll probably find me playing golf, traveling, going to concerts, or watching sports. I’m a big Clemson Tigers and Atlanta Braves fan.
I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you this year. I hope we can have some fun, learn a lot, and make this a class you actually enjoy coming to!
