I'm a lifelong naturalist and science enthusiast that enjoys being outdoors and learning about all aspects of science. I was born and raised in western Pennsylvania and received my Bachelors in Science in Biology from Ohio University.  I received my teacher training at Ashland University in Ohio and my Masters in Education from Furman University.

     I moved to South Carolina in 2006 and taught Science at Hughes Academy for two years before moving to Greer High. I work to engage students in the content and help them make meaningful connections between scientific concepts and phenomenon they may experience in their every day lives.
