About Me

This is my twenty-fourth year teaching and I have spent the last twenty and a half in the group homes. I was born in Greer but reared in Lyman and Duncan and am a proud graduate of the class of 1991 from James F. Byrnes High School. I graduated from Spartanburg Methodist College with my Associate's in Science 1993. I continued my education by attending Wofford College and graduating with a B.A. in History in 1995. Finally, I completed my educational record by graduating with my Master's in Education from Converse College in 1999. My hobbies include reading non-fiction books, watching foreign films and documentaries, walking, and listening to the Blues, Jazz, and Classical music (Although I am a fan of Deep Purple, The Eagles, and The Rolling Stones as well).  I believe that every person, no matter where you are from, can make a difference in this world and be a contributing factor to the advancement of society and the human race. Sounds far-fetched? Crazy? Maybe, but it's better to think positive than think negative any day.
