AP Chemistry Summer Assignment

This assignment aims to ensure that you get a head start on the first unit that AP Chemistry will cover. This assignment will be the first major grade in the class. The document does have hyperlinks to take you to videos that explain the topic. You can also view the Chemistry 1 notes on this website to give you a review of the topics. AP Chemistry Notes can be found using this link (be sure you are signed into your Greenville Schools Google account). The due date is dependent on which semester you take the course:

Fall Semester AP Chemistry - Due Friday, August 15th, 2025

Spring Semester AP Chemistry - Due Friday, January 9th, 2026

Your Unit 1 Test will take place within the first two weeks of school.

Here are your options for submitting the assignment:

Option 1 - Print out the assignment on your own and write in your answers. You will turn the physical copy in to Mr. Fowler when it is due. Questions that involve math should have work shown for the problem.

Option 2 - Answer the question in order on separate notebook paper or copy paper. Answers should be numbered with the corresponding question number. Each page should indicate the topic name and number (found at the top of each page in the document). You will turn the physical copy in to Mr. Fowler when it is due.
