About Mr. Alcocer

My name is Mr. Alcocer and I am so happy to be a part of the Greer Middle family. I have had the opportunity to teach middle and high school math for 12 years and I look forward to my 3rd year at Greer Middle. 

I am originally from northern California but have been living in the Upstate for about 9 years. We really love it here in the Upstate and are happy to call South Carolina our home. My wife, Tyneal, and I have 6 children (Ezra, Titus, Naomi, Jude, Amos, and Joey) so we are a loud group (especially at home ☺️).

I really enjoy playing sports (especially volleyball and basketball) and any types of video/board games, reading nonfiction, and learning more about math and other subjects. My favorite teams are the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants and 49ers.
