ALL ABOUT MRS. VAUGHN

This is my 21st year teaching at Mauldin Elementary School. I taught 1st grade for 7 years , kindergarten for 13 years, and happy to be headed back to 1st grade this school year.  I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Elementary Education. I received my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Converse College. Being a teacher is my dream job and I LOVE every minute of it. I couldn't be more excited about getting a new group of students!!! I am a Gamecock fan and love going to football and baseball games.  I am married to a wonderful man named Jim and we have 3 boys, Cooper who is 12, Luke who is 9 and Mason is 6.  We are a baseball family and LOVE the Atlanta Braves.  Our family has a golden retriever named Janie.  One of my favorite things to do is go to the beach!!  I look forward to a fun-filled school year!
