Students, teachers and parents may checkout books M-F between 7:20-2:00. If it is a parent's first time checking out I will need to set up an account for them during a non-class period. Parents may check out 3 books at a time.
Kindergarten students visit as a class once every other week and check out one book. They may also come in small groups accompanied by a teacher at any time during the day.
First and second grade students visit once every other week as a class, and may check out 2 books at a time. First and second grade students who read a lot can visit the library at other times using a library pass from their classroom.
Third-fifth graders visit once every other week as a class and may visit the library daily for checkout. These students may have 3 items at a time, depending on class assignments.
Students also have the opportunity to download and read or listen to ebooks and audiobooks through our district subscription to Sora and on our library catalog, Destiny Discover. Students use their school login through Classlink or Google for both sites.
You can see the latest additions to our library by visiting Destiny Discover.
When books are lost or damaged students and/or parents need to let me know right away so I can help you! Fines will be assessed for lost books or books damaged beyond repair or readability.
