About Me

Welcome! 

The 2025-2026 school year will be my 15th as a classroom teacher. As an educator, my goal is for students to grow exponentially in their reading skills, critical thinking, and ability to communicate through writing and speaking. 

I strive to connect the lessons of literature to the world around us and to help students make practical connections they can take with them throughout their lives. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, playing tennis, and of course - reading!
