About Mrs. McCaleb

Hi!  My name is Michelle McCaleb.  Teaching has been part of who I am since I was a little girl.  My parents and grandparents were all educators.  This will be my tenth year at Fountain Inn Elementary. My experience also includes teaching elementary and college levels in NC.  I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a reading concentration from Mars Hill College  earning a K-6 certification in NC.  My graduate degree is from Concordia University in Early Childhood Education.

This September, my husband, Anthony and I will celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary.  We have two sons, David and Joshua, who both went to Fountain Inn Elementary.  We  inherited a rescue dog named Goose, a TN walker hound who keeps us on our toes. Our family loves sports whether that be playing or watching, enjoys playing games and looks forward to our family beach trip every summer.

I am excited to be in the Reading Interventionist position at FIE.  I have a passion for reading and encouraging the love of reading in others.   I love working and learning with students.  We are going to have a super year!
