"Hello, I'm Onesha Tomlin. I was born and raised in a charming rural area on the beautiful island of Jamaica. As an international teacher at Berea Middle School, I bring with me a deep passion for education and science. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education with honors, majoring in Chemistry and minoring in General Science. Seven years ago, my love for science and dedication to imparting knowledge inspired me to pursue higher education in this field.
I am thrilled to be part of this institution, where I am committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our scholars. My goal is to love, guide, and hold our children accountable as I help shape them into the best versions of themselves. I firmly believe that children are like blank pages, and as educators, we must be mindful of the impressions we leave on them.
Beyond the classroom, I have a deep love for various interests. I am passionate about Science, particularly Chemistry and Earth Science. Music is another one of my great loves, especially Reggae, Dancehall, and RnB. I enjoy watching movies, with drama, comedy, and adventure being my favorite genres. Additionally, I find joy in cooking, whether it’s preparing local dishes or recreating new ones."
