Hello all! I am SO excited to be teaching your student this year! This is my third year teaching and I am looking forward to watching your student grow! 5th grade was always one of my favorite years when I was in school! I can't wait to make this year one to remember!

Education

Like your student, I attended the amazing school that is Mountain View Elementary! I then went on to graduate from Blue Ridge High School and continued my education in Anderson at Anderson University. Upon graduating, I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education, as well as, an add on in Early Childhood Education! I plan on pursuing my Masters in the near future!

Passion

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be an educator. Pursuing a career in education was a no brainer for me! I believe that teaching is a passion that comes from the heart. I hope that your child is able to experience this passion in so many ways in my classroom!

Family

Family is very important me! They are my support system and the reason why I keep going. I am one of fours kids in my family, three boys and ME. Life was a little hectic growing up with all those boys. My brothers' names are Michael, Walker, and Buddy. My parents are Bruce and Katie. You might know my mom, she taught here for almost all of her career! I am hoping that I will represent her legacy well!

I have a fiancé named Sam, he is also in this picture, to my right! He is the biggest help to me!

My best friend, Sara, is also in this picture. She is married my oldest brother, so she is basically my sister!

Fur Babies

My dogs are the best dogs in the whole world! I am a big believer that pets make life more enjoyable. In my free time, I love to pet sit for friends and family. If you have pets, I would love to hear about them!
