There is no required homework in preschool. Families are encouraged to read together each day, practice communication skills, and reinforce classroom routines at home. Learning through everyday play, conversations, and family activities is one of the best ways to support your child's development.
Please send the following items with your child as needed:
Backpack (Large enough to fit a folder)
Extra change of clothes
Diapers/Pull-Ups (if applicable)
Wipes (if applicable)
Water bottle (If you would like) (Highly encouraged)
1 Blanket or Towel if in 4K
Additional classroom donation requests may be shared throughout the year.
Student growth is monitored through ongoing classroom observations, daily participation, and individualized instruction. Students participate in the Brigance developmental assessment (3K and 4K), and 4K students also participate in myIGDIs to monitor early learning and school readiness skills.
Families will receive quarterly progress reports that provide updates on their child's progress toward their individual IEP goals.
