I am the middle child of 3 girls. I was born in California, before moving to Japan where I spent 6 amazing years of my childhood. Then, we moved back stateside to Virginia Beach where I graduated from Floyd E. Kellam High School. After graduating high school, my family moved to Wisconsin and I attended Concordia University-Wisconsin to play DIII field hockey. After the Fall semester, I left CUW and decided to transfer to play at a DII school in South Carolina. Before transferring, I attended a community college for the Spring semester. 

I began college wanting to become a psychologist and counselor. After the first semster, I decided it was not for me and changed my major to Business Administration. While I was a part of the field hockey team at Limestone, we were required to do community service and began tutoring kids afterschool at an elementary school. As I continued helping these students in low-income areas, I felt and knew teaching was my calling.

I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education and minor in Business Administration from Limestone University while playing DII collegiate field hockey. I am also a certified South Carolina Mentor Teacher(2026) and Level I USA Field Hockey Coach(2026).

When I am not teaching you can find me coaching, volunteering, enjoying sports, reading, traveling, or hanging out with my cat, Hazel.
