Meet Miss Jones

Hello! My name is Madison Jones, and I am so excited for this school year! 4th grade is my favorite grade, and I am looking forward to all the memories we will make and the growth we will see in ourselves and each other. My goal as a teacher is to foster a love of learning that students will take with them for the rest of their lives!

I am a Greenville, SC native and, after getting my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at the University of South Carolina and teaching for an additional year in Columbia, I moved back home in the hopes of giving back to the community that gave me such a positive K-12 education experience. I am so happy to be back in Greenville County Schools and completely thrilled to be a Summit Drive Eagle!

Some things that I love outside of my job - spending time with my very large, happy, blended family; traveling, exploring new areas, and trying new food; reading and writing; paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming; milk chocolate and sweet tea; and the color green!

I can't wait to get to know all my new adventure buddies and their parents throughout this year!
