Meet the Teacher

Hi! My name is Cali Castro and this is my 9th year teaching at Hughes Academy. I earned my Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Clemson University before advancing my studies at Converse University, where I completed both a Master of Arts in Teaching and an Educational Specialist degree in Literacy. When not teaching or studying, I spend my time with friends and family. I enjoy swimming, reading, paddle boarding, traveling, gaming, and crafting.
