Meet the Teacher

Hi! My name is Cali Castro and this is my 9th year teaching at Hughes Academy. I earned my Bachelors of English Literature from Clemson University and my Masters in the Art of Teaching and Educational Specialist in Literacy at Converse University. When not teaching or studying, I spend my time with friends and family. I enjoy swimming, reading, paddle boarding, traveling, gaming, and streaming tv shows and movies.
