Hi! My name is Maddie Smith. I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I am SC born and raised and graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 2019. I went on to graduate from Anderson University with a B.S. in Elementary Education with an add-on in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Instructional Design and Learning Technologies. I have taught 3rd grade for the last 2 years and I can’t wait for my first year in kindergarten! I am so excited to get to know you and your kiddos, help them learn and grow, and be their biggest cheerleader this year. Hi! My name is Sami Thompson, and I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher! This is my second year as a kindergarten aide at Gateway, but I have been teaching and working in childcare for 10 years. I’m currently in school to get my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I have two boys Carter (9) and Lawson (5), and most of my time is spent watching them on a baseball or football field.
