My name is Lauren Owens, and I'm excited to begin a new year at Augusta Circle. I know it will be full of fun and learning. And anyone that knows me, knows this year will be full of laughter too!
This is my 16th year teaching kindergarten. The first three years of my teaching career were spent as a kindergarten assistant at Oakview Elementary before moving on to Augusta Circle. I have been very blessed to work in two great schools with amazing students and parents.
Below are a few tid-bits to help you get to know me.
I grew up in Greenville and graduated from Mauldin High School.
I went to college at USC-Upstate where I earned a BA in Early Childhood Education.
I have one brother who is a deputy for GCSO.
I love spending my free time at the lake with my family and friends.
