Welcome to 6th Grade Science! My name is Morgan Blackwelder and I am thrilled to begin my 7th year teaching at Northwest Middle School. This will be my fifth year teaching science, after two years of teaching math.

I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Anderson University in May of 2019. I am originally from Travelers Rest and am so happy to be in my hometown teaching and giving back to the Travelers Rest community. My husband, Matt, and I have a three-year-old daughter, Caroline, and a very spoiled five-year-old chocolate lab, Kimber. In my free time, I enjoy camping, spending time with friends and family, and building my cookie-decorating business.
