About Miss Gibson!
My name is Keri Gibson! I am so excited to be your student's Kindergarten teacher this year! I graduated from North Greenville University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2020. This will be my sixth year teaching, and I have had the joy of spending all six years here at Slater-Marietta Elementary! I'm grateful to be part of such an awesome school! Kindergarten is such a special year filled with learning, discovery, and growth. I love watching my students grasp new concepts and build confidence every day!
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family especially my niece and nephews! I enjoy traveling, spending time with my friends and serving in my church community.
I look forward to a fun and successful school year!

This will be my fourteenth year with GCSD and my ninth year at SMES.
I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family. My twins are starting their junior year of college. Payton goes to Furman and Parker attends Clemson.
I attended SMES as a child and I am proud to serve in the community that I grew up in!
