FAQ About Homework

Q: Where do I find my child's homework?

A: You will get a calendar every Monday in your students folders. Each assignment will be completed inside of their labeled homework journals (composition notebook) 

Q: Do you check assignments daily? 

A: No, I will only check homework on Fridays. The calendar is a suggestions of how to pace out the work throughout the week so that students are only doing 5-10 minutes of work a day. 

Q: Where do I put the homework and work? 

A: Your student will have a homework journal that they will complete each day based on that weeks calendar. 

Q: How often should my child read to me for homework? 

A: As often as possible. Your student can read to you every single night!

Homework is not intended to be a source of stress for the students or parents. If you feel that it is beginning to be stressful, please reach out and we can come up with a solution together!
