Hello! My name is Cherish Rodriguez, and I am so excited to be teaching at Paris Elementary this fall! I am beyond enthusiastic to begin another year of teaching third grade! This will be my 6th year teaching and my 5th year in third grade. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with the Read to Succeed Literacy Endorsement. I then furthered my education and graduated with my Masters of Education from Anderson University!
My husband and I just celebrated one year, and we spent this summer traveling. Some of my other hobbies include hiking, spending time with friends, and enjoying good movies. I am always up for a new adventure, so I cannot wait to be a part of your child’s journey this school year!
I knew ever since I was a child that I wanted to be a teacher. So many teachers invested in me, inspired me, and shared their passion for learning with me that I never imagined doing anything else. That is my goal as a teacher as well! I want my students to look forward to coming to school, to have fun learning, and to strive to become life-long learners.
