I LOVE teaching at Mountain View! Having been a student at this school myself, becoming a teacher here was a full circle moment for me. I love this community and the hometown feeling you get when you walk through the doors of the school. I look forward to making my students’ experiences at Mountain View as awesome as mine when I was a child.

    This is my 25th year teaching, my 21th at Mt. View. I have taught fifth grade, third grade, second grade, kindergarten, and FIRST GRADE! I am so excited about this year's adventure!  

  I earned a Master of Education from Converse College and a Bachelor of Science from USC. I am a National Board Certified teacher.  My husband, Nathan, and I have two daughters.  Maddie is 24. She teaches kindergarten at another local elementary school! Mela is 19 and beginning her sophomore year in college. We also have a PRECIOUS fur baby,  Roxie (our sweet and sassy yorkie).  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and baking or cooking for my family and friends.

    I look forward to working with you as we journey through the school year, learning together!
