I grew up in Greenville and graduated from Presbyterian College. After college, I moved to Jacksonville, Florida where I spent two years teaching kindergarten. This is my tenth year teaching second grade at Augusta Circle. I am so thankful to teach at such a wonderful school with a great community! In 2018, I graduated from Furman with my masters degree in literacy. I love incorporating what I learned into our classroom!

My husband, Richard, and I have two sons. Woods is 4 years old and James was born in October of 2022. They are our greatest gift! When I'm not in the classroom, you'll find me running, cooking, watching college sports (I'm a big UNC fan!) and spending time with my family in the mountains.
