Welcome to 8th grade at Mauldin Middle School! 

I am in my 12th year of teaching.  I love middle schoolers, reading, and writing, so teaching 8th grade Language Arts is a great fit!

My family moved here 9 years ago to be a part of First Baptist Simpsonville/Upstate Church. 

We moved from Athens, GA, so naturally we cheer for the Georgia Bulldogs. Go dawgs!

My goal for this year is to help students progress in both their reading and writing skills. I firmly believe that one of the greatest things I can do is to help students communicate well. This tool will help them in any job they find themselves doing.  We will work hard this year to progress in how we communicate through writing and discussion.
