About Mrs. Garabedian

I have been teaching  for 26 years. This is my 11th year in RTI math and I love my job!  I enjoy seeing the smiles when accomplishments are made and learning new strategies from fellow teachers as well as from my students. I especially love when students show me the different ways they like to solve problems and their thought processes. I have lived in this area my whole entire life and love being a part of the Travelers Rest community. I have been married for  32 years and have 2 girls and a son-in-law.  My girls were once both Gateway Gators. Although, once a Gator, always a Gator. They keep me very busy, even as adult children :-) I also have the cutest dog, a cockapoo, named Carolina. I love spending time with my family and with my friends. I like to go to the beach as often as I can. I love the salty air and the "Vitamin Sea". I am an active member of a local church. If you see me wearing garnet and black, it is because I am a Gamecock and love football on Saturdays.
