Group Counseling

Monaview’s School Counseling Program offers the opportunity for student’s to participate in various Growth Groups.  Growth Groups are designed to address developmental needs of all children by helping to improve social, personal and academic skills as well as to encourage positive relationships with peers.

Topics include, but are not limited to:

• Emotional Regulation

• Self-Control

• Study Skills

• Friendship Skills

• Conflict Resolution

• Family Changes (Divorce, Grief, Adoption, etc.)

To sign your student up for a Growth Group, please fill out the referral form. 

Lunch Bunch provides an opportunity for counselors to talk with students in a less formal group setting. All 3rd-5th grade students are welcome to attend. These meetings will provide a space for students to interact with grade-level peers through conversation, activities, and games.
