Hello! My name is Krista Smith, and I am your school mental health therapist. I have had the privilege of providing therapy services at Greenville Middle for the past four years. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the College of Charleston.
Middle school is a time of exciting growth and meaningful change, though it can come with its share of challenges. I’m here to support you and your child as you navigate the ups and downs of this important stage. In my role as a school mental health therapist, I provide individual, group, and family therapy, as well as crisis intervention, to support students experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, and trauma.
Outside of work, my husband, Will, and I enjoy spending time with our families, friends, and pets. You can usually find us watching a sporting event or trying out a new restaurant. In April, we are excited to welcome our baby boy to join in on the fun!
