My name is Megan Phillips and I am originally from Florence, South Carolina. I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. I received my Master's Degree in Classroom Leadership from Southern Wesleyan University. This is my 18th year teaching and my 18th year at Rudolph Gordon! I have been married for 16 years to my college sweetheart, Jon Paul. We are the proud parents of two sweet boys, Crawford (10) and Porter (8). We have 1 dog, 2 cats, 1 hamster, and 9 chickens. We live in Fountain Inn. 

My belief is that every child that walks into my classroom has the ability to learn and that it is my job to figure out how they learn best. Providing a comfortable, loving, and challenging learning environment is a top priority for me. 

Communication between parent and teacher is a very important part of what I do. Children learn best when there are open lines of communication between home and school. I will be communicating with you on a regular basis during the school year and hope that if you have any questions or concerns, you will not hesitate to contact me!
