Graphic Communications

The Graphic Communication for the Artist course at League Academy is designed for students who wish to create a digital forum for their art.  The course will aid students in developing their own skills in presenting their work in the digital age. The course will require diligent effort on behalf of the student to complete the units in Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate and Web Design.  To satisfy the goals of the course, students will be assessed by rubric in a wide variety of daily and project based assignments.

The digital media class will be instructed as an art class using the computer.  Students will engage in projects that will expand their ability to develop and present their artistic ideas.  Furthermore, students will be using the latest software titles used in the computer graphics and design industry.  They will be required to publish many of their works to our google classroom and culminate the year by creating a digital art web portfolio. This website will be a portfolio in which they will be encouraged to add to after leaving League Academy.
