My name is Kim Cole and I am very excited to be back at Heritage Elementary this year as a part-time Spanish teacher. I spent 20 years working as the Media Specialist is our school library, but I actually began my career as a Spanish teacher. I taught Spanish for 5 years in Pickens County at R.C. Edwards Middle School and Daniel High School. Then I moved to Greenville County and taught Spanish at Travelers Rest High School for five years before I transitioned into the Media Center. I studied education and Spanish at Clemson University, and was able to participate in a study abroad program in Quito, Ecuador. I also spent time in Barcelona, Spain when I was preparing to teach Spanish. I grew-up in Travelers Rest and I live in my childhood home with my husband, two children, and 5 pets. I love our community and I can't wait to share my love of Spanish with your children!
