Please allow me to introduce myshelf! My name is Emily Bailey. In 2024, I earned my MLIS at the University of South Carolina, and this is my second year at Blythe as a media specialist! I worked in middle school libraries in the Lowcountry for 4 years before moving upstate to embark on a new adventure. I love to discuss books with my fellow Blythe Bears, and some of my favorite authors include Kwame Alexander, Ryan T. Higgins, Kat Leyh, Jacqueline Woodson, and Lisa Yee.

When I am not sharing my passion for reading and learning with students, I enjoy cooking, plundering the public library, and exploring the outdoors with my dog Huck.

Meet Ms. Booker! Ms. Booker retired from GCS after 20 years of service, but she has thoroughly enjoyed returning to Blythe to help students and staff in the media center for the past 6 years. She loves working with our students!
