About Me

I was born and raised in Michigan. In high school, I was an exchange student to Brazil. I attended Central Michigan University and studied Political Science.  I have a fiance, Dave, one son David, and a cat named Jazz.  I taught Middle School Science for 16 years in Jacksonville, FL and was involved in coaching and science/technology clubs.  I then transitioned to 3rd grade and taught in the Tampa area for 5 years. I enjoy reading and hiking.  This is my first year at REC.
