Hi, I'm Ms. McLeod, and I’m so excited to be teaching 7th grade science at Bryson Middle School! This is my first-year teaching in Greenville County, but I previously taught in Michigan, where I’m originally from.
I’m the middle child of three, with two brothers who helped spark my love of adventure and curiosity. I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, and forensic science from Southern Wesleyan University, and I’m passionate about making science fun, hands-on, and meaningful for all students.
When I’m not teaching, I love to be outside—especially hiking/backpacking. I’ve visited 10 national parks so far, and I’m always planning my next trip. I also enjoy playing golf, disc golf, tennis, and pickleball—basically anything active and outside!
In quieter moments, I enjoy reading and playing board and card games—I've played almost everyone out there!
I’m looking forward to an amazing year at Bryson, full of learning, discovery, and scientific exploration!
