Welcome

Hello!

I am super excited to start the 2026–2027 school year at Bryson Middle! This will be my 5th year of teaching overall, and my very first year in middle school. I’ve spent the last four years at the high school level, but with my 6–12 ELA certification, I decided to make the switch!

I’m originally from East Tennessee (just like Dolly Parton!), but I recently moved to Greenville with my fiancé and our four pets—two cats and two dogs. My fiancé is a Greenville native, and after falling in love with the area, we decided to make it our home base.

I am a huge lover of literature and all things reading, so feel free to ask me for a book recommendation anytime! On top of being a total nerd, I love a wide variety of music, I'm a former band kid, and I played lots of sports growing up. So, I can talk to anyone on just about any topic. If you ask me who my diehard team is, just know… GO VOLS! 🏈

Google Classroom

Students, you will access Google Classroom through your Backpack/Classlink Apps or go to the app launcher on Google and select Google Classroom. For any virtual learning days (such as for inclement weather), you will go to Google Classroom to find the Google Meet link for virtual class meetings.

Parents/Guardians can access Google Classroom by receiving email summaries that include information such as upcoming work, missing work, and class activities. The guardian access does not include grades. For grades, see your Parent Backpack account.
