             At East North Street Academy, General Music is taught from Kindergarten all the way through 5th grade. Units/areas of study include the following:

South Carolina State Music Standards

All general music lesson plans and classroom activities are connected to the South Carolina State Music Standards, which are comprised of:

Grading

A grade of M (meeting standards) or P (progressing) will be given at the end of each quarter, and will be based on data from both informal and formal assessments, as well as participation and involvement in music class.
