ABOUT ME:

Hello parents!

My name is Michael Cheek, and I’m a highly qualified elementary music teacher at East North Street Academy. I graduated from North Greenville University in December of 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in music education with a focus on choral music. I have lots of experience teaching music both in person, and virtually. I completed my student teaching at Skyland Elementary, and went on to be a long-term substitute teacher for both Taylors Elementary, and Mauldin High School. This will be my 4th year teaching at East North Street Academy. My goal as a teacher is to help kids experience music in a variety of ways while creating an environment of unconditional acceptance. I look forward to making music with your children!
