This year is my twelfth year teaching at Blue Ridge High School. I have taught in Greenville County Schools since 2000 with a 9 year break to raise my children. In 2000 I graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.S. in Family and Consumer Science Education. I earned my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner Webb University in 2024.
I am currently teaching Fashion Fabric and Design 1, Family and Consumer Science 1, Foods and Nutrition 1, and Child Development 1 & 2 here at Blue Ridge High School. This year, I also began teaching a Family and Consumer Science course for Greenville County Virtual School. I am excited about teaching students practical skills that will help them in their family life now and in the future. When I am not at school I am keeping up with my four children. I enjoy playing the piano, reading, sewing and knitting when I can find the time. I am excited about teaching here at BRHS this year.
