Hello Bulldogs,
I am so excited to show you what we have in mind for this year. This is a new class offered at League that will incorporate elements of the other subject areas, including art, through project-based learning. Let's get started!
This will be my 6th year at League Academy, but I have over three decades of teaching experience, ranging from K-5 to 8th Grade. I started my career in Charleston County, but have taught in Greenville County for the majority of my career.
I am a native of Greenville and a graduate of Greenville County Schools. I am also a College of Charleston double graduate. For the 2019-20 school year, I was named Greenville County School's District Teacher of the Year.
My husband and I have two sons, both of whom graduated from Clemson University (Go Tigers!). I also have an amazing daughter-in-law and a precious two year old granddaughter.
I am excited for this new chapter of teaching iStudio, our new class at League!

How can I check on my child's progress?
Parents can check on their child's progress by logging into either the student or parent backpack. Parents are also encouraged to have their child login to our Google Classroom and to check to see that assignments have been turned in. Students will be given a paper agenda to use daily in class. Please encourage your student to show you their agenda often.
Mrs. McCoy will send out Backpack emails and texts to keep you updated on class happenings. Check this site, as well.
