Mrs. McClelland

Hello! My name is Sarah McClelland and I will be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year. I am so excited to meet all of you! This is my first year at Monarch Elementary but my 17thyear teaching. I know we are going to have a great school year together!

I have my K-5 Elementary Education degree from Eastern Michigan University, along with a Masters degree in Middle School Math. I have lived and taught in Florida, North Carolina, Connecticut and now South Carolina! My husband, two year old daughter, and I moved to Simpsonville last year and we have loved exploring the area!

Mrs. Cantrell

Mrs. Cantrell graduated from Clemson University in 1998 with a BA in Sociology. From 2008-2021, she worked at Brookwood Preschool as a teacher. She started working at Monarch Elementary in 2022.

She has been married for 19 years to Todd. She loves taking trips with him and their two children, Sam, who is 15 years old and Gabbi, who is 8 years old. Her passions are being involved in her church, having fun with her kids and students, cooking, baking, and working out at the YMCA.
