Dear Parents and Students:

Welcome to another fantastic year at EHS!  I am excited to be a part of your child's education and look forward to a productive school year working with you. It is my pleasure to teach English 4 CP, English 4 Honors, and English 3 Honors this school year.  This will be my 23rd year teaching high school and my 11th year at Eastside High School.  I am also an Eastside alumna--class of '95.  In my spare time I enjoy reading books, watching movies, crocheting, hiking, and spending time with my family and our pets. 

My goals are to provide your child with opportunities to become a critical thinker, to develop a healthy respect for reading, and to develop their own voice through the power of writing.  As always, I want to encourage an atmosphere of open communication with my students and their parents, and it is my hope that this website eases that process for you.

Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions or concerns.  I am available by phone before or after school; however, email is the most efficient way to communicate with me.
