About Me

Hi everyone! I am originally from Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and moved to Greenville eight years ago. I taught 7th grade Civics for four years and this is my eighth year teaching South Carolina History at Beck. I obtained my Master's in History from Florida State University and my B.A. in History from the University of Central Florida. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, and being outdoors. I also have a cat named Juno, and I just love her so much! Be prepared to hear about her all the time :)

• I love learning about government and politics 

• I love true crime and murder mysteries 

• I'm on a mission to travel to all the National Parks located in the continental U.S. 

• The American Revolution and Reconstruction are my favorite historical time periods to teach 

• The current historical topic I am researching is the Holocaust and spent last summer in Poland
