Welcome to SC/US History & the 8th Grade!

This class will focus on different themes for each grading period as we learn about both South Carolina history and U.S. history. More information is provided in my syllabus. As your teacher, I will provide the path for you to be successful. As a student, you will be successful based on the decisions you make, effort that you apply, and the responsibility you take.

The bell schedule is below. We are Team A. I have planning during 2nd & 3rd periods. We usually have grade level, district & departmental meetings beginning at 9:50 (sometimes 9:10) Monday-Thursday.

What is in Google Classroom?

1. Class activities and assignments to be assessed. If a paper copy is handed out, I will provide a digital copy that can be printed if necessary. (Only one paper copy will be provided for each student.)
2. Homework and upcoming major and minor assignments.
3. Learning supports (class notes and resources, examples, rubrics, etc.).
