Welcome to Second Grade!

My name is Matthew Williams and I am SO excited to be your child’s 2nd grade teacher this school year. Second grade is such a fun year full of growth and learning. I can not wait to create a welcoming community where our class flourishes and has tremendous growth!

I recently graduated from North Greenville University this past May with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. This will be my first year teaching. I previously student taught in second grade here in Greenville County. My education and time in the classroom has made me a highly qualified and passionate teacher.

I can not wait to see what this year holds for our class. It is going to be such a great year!
