Hi! I am Shannon Cannada and I will be serving Chandler Creek Elementary as a math interventionist. I taught fifth grade math for 9 years and taught third grade for 4 years. I received my bachelor's in elementary education from North Greenville University. Then, I went on to get my graduate degree in Gifted and Talented Education from Converse College. I've taught in both Spartanburg County District 5 and Greenville County. I live in Greer and love that I get the opportunity to teach in my own community. I am married and have three children (Penny - 7, Charlie - 6, and Wade - 4). I'm excited to have all three of my children at Chandler Creek this year.
My fourth grade teacher poured so much into me in learning math when I thought I couldn't. She tutored me after school and even entered me into a math competition. Her belief in me inspired me to become a teacher and eventually into teaching math specifically. I love getting the opportunity to inspire my students to love math too!
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love to read (classics mostly), go camping, travel to Disney, and being involved in my church.
I'm looking forward to an amazing year!

My name is Elizabeth Riebe, and I am so excited to be one of the math interventionists at Chandler Creek Elementary. This will be my 21st year working in Greenville County. I received my undergrad degree from Bob Jones University in 2005. Immediately following graduation, I taught 3rd grade at Welcome Elementary. After teaching at Welcome Elementary for six years, I transferred to Paris Elementary, where I taught 2nd grade for three years and 4th grade for eight years. In 2022, the time was right for me to step out of the general education classroom and into the math intervention role at Chandler Creek! Since that time, I have earned my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. Most recently, I have completed the requirements for a Masters + 30 with a concentration in Elementary Education.
Math was my favorite subject throughout my schooling, and it remains my favorite subject to teach students. I am lucky to spend each day working with students and all things math! We start and end each of our class periods by reminding ourselves that we are mathematicians who can do hard things!
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing the piano, reading, shopping, and spending time with my family.
