My name is Beth Nelson. I have been teaching for twelve years! I taught for three years at Brushy Creek Elementary, transferred to Spartanburg Preparatory School for four years, and came back home to Brushy Creek Elementary! I have a Bachelors of Arts in the areas of Early Childhood and Elementary Education from North Greenville University. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching also from North Greenville University.
To share a little bit about myself: I love fishing with my husband, son, and daughter! We have a crazy dog too! He is a bloodhound named Tank. Students always love hearing about Tank and his silly adventures.
Favorite Quote: "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." - Dr. Seuss, The Lorax.
I love teaching. My goal is to make an impact in this world, and what better way than to start with young minds. Teaching students to care, love, and show our world the kindness it needs. I care about your child's well-being beyond the small time frame that I get to share with them.
