Growing up in Greenville, I attended Greenville County schools and then North Greenville University where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education. I received the Excellence in Education award at NGU. My teaching career started at League Academy middle school as a long term substitute strings teacher. Then I began teaching music at East End Elementary school in Pickens County and taught there for three years. During the week, I teach private violin and viola lessons at my home studio. My husband and I enjoy visiting new places, especially if dogs are allowed! We enjoy hiking and dancing. We competed in a Shag dance competition in 2015. I love dancing and use it a lot in my classroom. We have a 2 year old named James and 6 month old named Benjamin! They are keeping us busy and on the move! I look forward to meeting our new students this year and seeing familiar faces. I am excited to share music with you!!
